CoinDesk Announces Consensus 2026 in Miami
Consensus, a cornerstone event in the cryptocurrency conference circuit, will relocate to Miami Beach Convention Center from May 5-7, 2026. The move marks the latest evolution for the gathering that began in New York in 2015, adapted through pandemic-era virtual formats, and most recently established footprints in Austin and Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong edition this February demonstrated the event’s global appeal, drawing over 10,000 participants. Next year’s North American flagship in Toronto anticipates 15,000 attendees, featuring prominent speakers including Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson and Chainlink’s Sergey Nazarov.
"Miami’s emergence as a crypto hub makes it the ideal host for Consensus 2026," said Chairman Michael Lau. The city’s progressive regulatory environment and vibrant Web3 community align with the conference’s mission to drive blockchain adoption.
